Flavor Notes

Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

A concentrated, full-bodied Pinot Noir with smooth notes of cherry cola, pomegranate reduction, and dried flowers.
Sommelier

This would go amazing with a vegetarian burger, quinoa and bean patty with toasted cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Put it all on a toasted bun with garlic aioli, tomato, butter lettuce, pickled onion and crisp dill pickle.
Chef

Sitting on marine sedimentary soils, the 2019 Sunset Ridge is rich, round and incredibly delicious. Cherry cola, raspberry bramble and dried flowers give way to a robust, voluminous body framed by bold tannins and dark red fruit finish.

Winemaking Notes
2019 Vintage:
A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes.
Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions.
The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average.
A classic Oregon vintage!
