Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

Dave McIntyre, Washington Post
Pungent and upfront with black cherries, black raspberries, currants, crushed rocks, black and white pepper, sweet raspberries, graphite, violets and fennel pollen. Full bodied with chewy, high tannins and crisp acidity. Such a lovely expression of Tempranillo!
Keith Akers
Pair with slow-roasted pork loin with caraway dusted cippolini onion drizzled with a black peppercorn sauce.
Norma Buchholz
Chef
A cool climate version of a warm climate grape, the Deux Vert tempranillo enchants with notes of olive tapenade, baked plum and heaps of black pepper. Terrific structure and balance make this wine great for summer barbeques.

Winemaking Notes

A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes.
Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions. The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average.
A classic Oregon vintage!
