94 Points | Wine & Spirits - Off dry with scents of pear, apple and peach, this vineyard designate has broad and generous fruit flavors, leavened by reedy notes of celery leaf and ginger flower; its texture is luxurious and slyly intense, with the energy and drive for Chinese dumplings.

A deliciously balanced, medium-dry Riesling with sweet notes of honeysuckle, lemon bar, and lime curd.
Sommelier

Lemon-poppyseed cake with almond buttercream and a dollop of whipped cream would pair perfectly with this wine!
Chef

A consistent showstopper, the 2021 Bois Joli is sumptuously balanced, effusing honeysuckle, lemon verbena and mango. A deliciously versatile food wine, this vintage is not to be passed up!

Winemaking Notes
Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.
Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.
No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
