Flavor Notes

Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

Refined and elegant, this Pinot Noir showcases red fruit notes of cranberry, red currant, red cherry, and an elegant hint of candied violets.
Sommelier

Pair with a loaded hamburger with all the fixings, caramelized onions, bacon, double patty, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, garlic aioli and a dash or two of hot sauce.
Chef

One of the newest additions to our family of vineyard designate pinot noirs, the 2021 represents the first commercial vintage from the Fayetta Vineyard located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Effusing bright raspberry and pomegranate on the nose, the wine transitions to crunchy red fruit on the palate. Well structured and fruit forward, this wine is an excellent addition to a summer barbeque.

Winemaking Notes
Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.
Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.
No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
