93 Points | James Suckling - A cool and flinty nose that’s still quite closed. Needs some aeration in the glass for the aromas of crisp pear and garden peas to emerge. Nice juicy palate with a crisp acidity that easily carries the touch of unfermented grape sweetness. From a high-altitude site with volcanic soil. Limited production. Drink or hold.

- Stuart Pigott
Exoctic floral notes of plumeria and jasmine along with white fruits of cherry, raspberry, and lychee characterize the aromas along with sweet herbs and seashells. The palate brings together a perfectly balanced and rich viscosity tied together with a slight floral nectar and ripe fruit flavors that harmoniously come together in this luscious wine.
Jen Cossey
General Manager/Sommelier
Aromas of nectarine, lemon oil, and pea blossoms. On the well-structured palate great acid is softened by 24g/L residual sugar, while supported and pulled together by chalky phenolics.

Winemaking Notes

Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.

Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.

No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
