93 Points | James Suckling - Beautifully ripe peach, nectarine and mandarin orange aromas, plus a touch of honeysuckle character. Juicy and vibrant with quite some power, this bold dry riesling is driven by a pink grapefruit acidity. Long, juicy and salty finish with a positive hint of bitterness. From a high-altitude vineyard with sedimentary soils. Limited production. Drink or hold.
A journey of a wine with bright fruit and floral aromas consisting of apricot, citrus, and pear on the nose, along with honeysuckle and camomile leading to a palate of white watermelon, kiwi, and Meyer lemon integrated with bright acids and a long refreshing finish.

A giving Riesling. Lemon oil, yellow nectarine, and honeydew on the nose lead to a structured palate. Yellow fruits soften the phenolic weight and tension of the mid-palate, which is followed by a tea-like finish.

Winemaking Notes
Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.
Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.
No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
