Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

Dave McIntyre, Washington Post
Bright and lively on the nose with rich dried fruit characters on the palate, contributing to a well-balanced wine with notes of red and black cherry, savory baking spices, dark chocolate and herbs, as well as rose petal and lavender bud floral notes. Its expression is lush and generous, with a long finish and a food-friendly structure.
Jen Cossey
General Manager/Sommelier
Playful red cherry and rose on the nose lead to a palate with both levity and depth. Dried red fruit and spicy cedar-like tannin is supported by underlying darker cocoa notes and an herbs de Provence through-line.

Winemaking Notes

Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.

Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.

No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
