2025 Brooks University Seminars

Give the wine lover in your life the gift of knowledge with a six or twelve-class pack of Brooks University seminars! These fun and educational seminars will cover various topics like soil, varietals, vintages, and more! All attendees will be invited to an exclusive “graduation” celebration at the end of the year. 

Classes will be in session on the first Saturday of every month in 2025 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and will include wine and small bites. Here’s the schedule:

  • January 4th – AVAs of Oregon – A deep dive into the appellations of Oregon through the eyes of Brooks Pinot Noir.
  • February 1st – Brooks Estate Vineyard Through the Years – A short history and vertical tasting assessment of several vintages featuring Old Vine Pommard Pinot Noir from Brooks Estate Vineyard.
  • March 1st – Riesling, a Spectrum of Personalities – A look at one vintage, several styles, and one style, several vintages to learn more about how Riesling ages.
  • April 5th – Sparkling Wine Production and Personalities – A look at sparkling wines from around the world, including multiple vintages of our sparkling Muscat and Riesling as a pre-release celebration of our upcoming vintage of sparkling Muscat.
  • May 3rd – The Wines of Terue – A deep dive into the Terue label wines.
  • June 7th – Sustainable and Organic Viticulture Deep Dive – Understanding the differences with interactive Biodynamic activity.
  • July 5th – Blind Wine Tasting 101 – An aromatic journey with a “garden in a glass” aromatic samples from Brooks’ Garden and blind tasting basics.
  • August 2nd – Clonal Selection Side by Side – A selection of single clone wines in comparison with pe-harvest vineyard grapes samples.
  • September 6th – The Legacy of Janus Pinot Noir – A deep dive across vintages.
  • October 4th – Harvest: The Art and Science of How Wine is Made – A hands-on investigation of harvest at Brooks and a first look at the 2025 vintage.
  • November 1st – Advanced Wine and Food Pairings – A deeper look at the finer points of wine and food pairings and how to make the most of the holiday season.
  • December 6th – Legends of Riesling – An Atlas-style tasting of Riesling from around the world featuring wines from Australia, Germany, Oregon, and France.
  • December 6th (after class) – Graduation party.
