Ingredients

  • 100 oz semi-sweet chocolate (cut into small pieces)
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp unsalted butter

Suggested Toppings

  • chocolate sprinkles
  • crushed nuts (peanut, walnut, hazelnut, etc.)
  • cocoa powder
  • glitter sprinkles

Directions

Mixing and Baking

  1. Put chopped chocolate in a bowl with the butter.

  2. In a small saucepan heat to cream until a light simmer.

  3. Pour the cream on the chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  4. Stir until well combined, place in a small pan, and let cool for at least 4 minutes.

Assembly for Truffles

  1. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop the individual batters onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

  2. Using your hands, gently roll the batter into uniformed shaped balls, place back on baking sheet.

  3. Using the different toppings of your choice, carefully roll each truffle into your desired toppings, refrigerate or enjoy immediately!
