Paprika and Chili Crispy Pork Belly

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork belly (skin scored)
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all the spices together in a bowl.

  2. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork.

  3. Wrap the pork in parchment paper and then in foil.

  4. Place in a hotel pan and cook at 300 degrees for 5 hours.

  5. Let cool completely in the foil.

  6. Cut into desired pieces and fry the pork skin side down to crisp the skin.

  7. Serve immediately.
