Ingredients
- 2 limes (juiced)
- cup cilantro (rough chop)
- tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pinch white sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic (grated)
- tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- serrano pepper (thinly sliced)
- 2 8oz pieces of tuna
- tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cup snow peas (blanched)
- 1 avocado (thinly sliced)
Directions
In a bowl, combine the cilantro, ginger, grate garlic, lime juice, soy sauce and serrano. Mix well.
Season the tuna with salt and pepper.
Heat a sauté pan with olive oil. Gently sear both sides of the tuna until golden brown, about 1 minute per side. Remove from the heat and let rest.
In a small pan, heat the butter and the minced garlic. Add the snow peas and cook for 30 seconds, or until warm.
Place the snow peas and sliced avocado on a plate with the tuna on top. Drizzle the dressing over the top of the fish. Enjoy!
